Chapter One – Starting out with Jack

My name is Jack Legendary. This is my story.
I have come to Sunset Valley to claim the land inherited to me from the estate of a distant relative whom I admit I did not even know. It was received through mysterious circumstances that have left me somewhat confused. Needless to say I am very grateful.
I have always managed to have generally good fortune throughout my life. However, despite luck being on my side, the things that I yearn for have thus far eluded me. For too long I have been alone. For too long I have been drifting aimlessly. If I were to cease, who would care? I fear I shall go unnoticed like a shadow in the night.
I have few possessions and no family that I know. The sudden acquisition of property has presented to me a glimmering opportunity. Whether by chance or destiny who can say, but whatever the cause, I have made a decision to seize that opportunity.
No longer shall I be content to live a life of solitude in wasted wandering. I shall have a place I can call my own; a place to lay foundations.
I shall have a home and a family.
Not just any home, but an empire! Not just any family, but a dynasty! Truly, by the sweat of my brow and the blood in my veins, my legacy shall be – Legendary!
